When will the Dems, mainly the DCCC, DNC and DSC, tackle Republican talking points head on???? No more of this ignoring them and being "above it all" and holier than thou. Is this non-involvement to appease donors?? If so, we are doomed. Citizens United must be negated.
Seems to me that the national organizations should take on the overriding issues, rather than just help individual candidates. They should defend the Affordable Care Act, Planned Parenthood, the IRS, regulations, and rights of minorities. They should explain why these are important for all Americans, to counter the "47%" argument. The voters are constantly bombarded with the right wing viewpoint, contrary to what Bill O'Reilly says. The facts must be disseminated.
All I have seen lately is a birthday card to President Obama. That is nice, but not enough from our national organizations.
The argument that you cannot convince any of the middle ground voters is wrong, in my opinion.
